DAY3:
'Learn to say hello and bye in 10 languages'.
As I love different cultures,travelling around the world. I love different languages, but we can't love everything in a day. So for just a start , I am trying to learn to say two most used words...hello and goodbye in my selected top 10 languages [which i dont know]. I know this is nothing as learning the full language but its a good start to choose one and continue further.
HELLO:
1. french- bonjour
2. Spanish - hola
3. german - guten tag
4. Portuguese- Ola [applied to brazil too]
5. Japanese- ohayo/konnichiwa/konbanwa [in morning, afternoon and evening ]
6. Arabic- marhaba [quite intresting...i heard this in an Indian song, never knew what it meant]
7. Mandarin- ni hao
8. tamil- vanakkam [cheated-i knew this one, but not other words]
9. thai- swasdi
10. swedish- hej
GOODBYE-
1-French- au revoir there are many ways , this is one of them]
2. Spanish- adios
3. german- auf wederesehen
4. portugese- tchau
5. Japanese- sayonara
6. Arabic- wadaeaan
7. mandarin- zaijian
8. Tamil- kutpai
9. Thai- la kxn
10. swedish- adjo
phew! too much for a day 😕😓😌but fun!!!
why i chose these as my top 10- as these are the places I am intrested in and few are some famous ones I think i shall know.
time taken: 30mins.
how I did it?- mostly googled, noted & learned.
